Summer 8 Ball League

We have a few more people that have signed up for the Summer in-house 8 Ball league at Shooter’s Billiard lounge and if you are interested in playing you can still sign up until this Friday. Use the online form here to sign up if you would like to join us. This is an 8 week session open to all players and we expect to have a payout in the final of about $1500.00. If we get more players that number will go up.

2010 Summer Singles starts Monday Night

Hey everyone, season 2 of the summer singles 8 ball league starts Monday Night at 7:30 pm. If you would like to play but havent signed up, please do so in the post in the featured articles section. If you like, show up tomorrow night to Shooter’s Billiard Lounge at 7pm and we can take care of things at that time. The sooner I know the better so I can do up the draws.

2010 Super Series Results

We had a great turnout with 35 out of the top 36 players participating in this years Super Series Finals. If you haven’t read about it already, Ryan Spence is this years Super Series Champion.

I would like to thank everyone who played in the Super Series this year, thanks for your support and comments and I hope you will come back to play in the fall. Thanks to Todd Lindsay for providing us with a terrific venue that can accommodate a weekly tournament of this size, and of course, thanks to Aactive for your support over the past 5 years.

I will be starting up a weekly Saturday tournament again next weekend (July 10, 2010) so if you are jones’n for some pool over the summer come on out and play. July 5th will be the start of the in house summer 8 ball league at Shooter’s, sign up on the site here if you are interested. You can find more info in the featured section on the main page.

It was about 11pm last night, in a hill-hill match against Leigh Sherry, when Ryan Spence became WPC’s 2010 Super Series Champion. I will put up more info sometime this evening about payouts etc…

Wow, it’s finally here! Don’t forget start time is 2pm tomorrow and will will be starting right on time since we already have the divisions sorted out.

Here are the payouts based on a full field tomorrow:

2010 Super Series Draft

Hey folks, here is the result of the draft that took place last night at Shooter’s. These are the divisions that you will be playing in for the Finals on June 26th and 27th. Once again, we already have all of the divisions sorted, so we will be starting at 2pm sharp. Please do not be late. Division 1 will be playing on tables 1 and 2; Division 2 will be playing on tables 3 and 6; Division 3 will be playing on tables 4 and 5, Division 4 will be playing on tables 7 and 8. Entry fee is $20.

2010 Super Series Draft

The top 4 from the 2010 Super Series Season will be meeting up at Shooter’s Billiard Lounge tonight at 7:30 to do up the draft for the finals which will be held on June 26th and 27th. Anyone is welcome to come down and follow along if they wish. I will have the results of the draft up on the site here by tomorrow evening if not sooner. 2010 Super Series Final Standings

Here we go folks…as promised…the final standings (See the Super Series Stats - 2010 page) for the 2010 Super Series have been posted. Please note that there is an error, Mike Brough should read as 157 points which puts him in fourth place.

I will be in touch with the top 4 players in the next couple days to determine when we can get together for the draft. Once the draft is done, the divisions will be posted here.

For everyone in the top 36…Congratulations and good luck in the finals.

The finals will be held on June 26th and 27th, starting at 2:00pm. Entry fee is$20. Staurday will be the Round Robin portion of the tournament, Sunday will be a double knockout (race to 5 on the A, race to 4 on the B) and a single knockout sportsman division.

Open Tournament Saturday at Shooters

Hi all,

We will be having an open tournament on Saturday Super Series Style…which means Round Robin with a single knockout finish. Entry is $15 and we start at 1:30 sharp. This will be open to anyone who would like to come down and play and not just to Vegas and under.

The Final stats for the regular season Super Series will be updated Monday evening, but as you can tell it wont look much different from what is already up there. Derek Quinsey got his points to edge out Ryan Bartlett for a place in the Top 36.

I will be getting in touch with the top 4 finishers to let them know when we will be doing the draft for the finals divisions. Once the divisions have been drafted, they will be posted here.
